 Keynote Address
  Colonel Lee Ellis

How did American Military leaders in the brutal POW camps of North Vietnam inspire their followers for six, seven, or eight years to remain committed to the mission, resist a cruel enemy, and return home with honor? What leadership principles engendered such extreme devotion, perseverance, and teamwork?

Col. Lee Ellis, a former Air Force pilot, candidly talks about his five and a half years of captivity and the fourteen key leadership principles behind this amazing story. As a successful executive coach and corporate consultant, he helps leaders of Fortune 500 companies, healthcare executives, small business owners, and entrepreneurs utilize these same pressure-tested principles to increase their personal and organizational success.

"Lee Ellis and I share a bond that goes back to our experience in the POW camps of North Vietnam. He was captured 11 days after me. We occupied neighboring cells in the Hanoi Hilton for eighteen months of our captivity. In Leading with Honor Lee draws from the POW experience including some of his personal story, to illistrate the crucial impact of leadership on the success of any organzation. My friend Lee presents these in an exciting and practical way. I thank Lee for bringing this conversation to the forefront of our national discussion."  -- Senator John McCain

Albert Pines, Managing Director, 90Degrees of Design, Are your proposals engineering documents, a manual to a solution, a fully compliant response that meets all the evaluation criteria? Congratulations – you just created another tree killing notebook full of boring reading. Most of us, when asked, agree that our proposals are marketing documents. But, does your proposal actually look and read like a marketing document? Does it really tell a story, despite the RFP structure, both textually and visually in a manner a reader (on his/her 8th vendor response) will find compelling. Think architecture and design before you think management and compliance – and improve your win rate.
